Jazz singer Jeri Brown says her life as an artist has allowed her to do something she loves, travel the world as a performer.

Brown lives in Tantallon, N.S. but still spends months every year in Montreal where she’s a professor of music.

Originally from St. Louis, Missouri, she came to Canada in the late 1980s.

She appeared today at the Nonesuch Café as part of the summer series of coffee talks at Main & Station.

In this short five minute documentary, Jeri Brown talks about her life and art; and reads from her poem New Wonderland.
