The candidates are hair stylist Betty Atkinson, furniture and appliance dealer Lyle Yorke, Rafes Construction proprietor Norman Rafuse, and Margaret “Maggie” Phinney, a former health care worker and veteran volunteer.
Nominations closed at 5 p.m. today.
Voters will cast their ballots at the Parrsboro Fire Hall between 8 a.m and 7 p.m. on Saturday September 5th.
Two advance polls will also be held at the Fire Hall on Saturday August 29 and Tuesday September 1st.
The council seat became vacant when Rob Fancy resigned effective May 29th.
